Barnett Waddingham senior consulting actuary Rachel Pegrum completed the London Marathon on Sunday in 4hrs 34 minutes, raising nearly £3,000 for NSPCC.

Pegrum said Barnett Waddingham's flexible working policy allowed her to train during daylight hours.

She also held a ‘Quiz-a-oke' at the firm's London office to raise funds – with Barnett Waddingham providing matching funding.

Pegrum said: "The NSCPP is a charity very close to my heart, so I was determined to take on this challenge to raise much needed funds for them. I am really grateful to all those who have supported me, including Barnett Waddingham who generously provided match funding to help me reach my target."
